So you know how to read…

Reading is so important as a life skill, not just a leisure activity. Literacy and numeracy skills are necessary to navigate your way through our complex world every day.

There are adults in our community who for various reasons do not have skills in reading, writing and basic maths.

You can read, but would you know how to help someone who can’t?IMG_5544

City of Tea Tree Gully is seeking expressions of interest for volunteer tutors to be trained in Adult Literacy Training. You would need to be available for two half days per week for four weeks beginning mid November, and then available to be a tutor for classes in 2010.

For more information or to give your expression of interest, please contact Benita on wheeb@cttg.sa.gov.au
