Join the party… Summer Reading Club Finale

The school holidays have been lots of fun at the Library with the ever-popular Summer Reading Club. If you haven’t joined in the fun already, collect a reading log or book review form next time you visit the Library to be in the running for some great prizes.  Most importantly, don’t forget to come along to our Summer Reading Club Finale!

The Summer Reading Club Finale starts at5pm on Wednesday 23 January, with special prizes and activities for SRC members. Come on the night dressed as one of your all-time favourite storybook characters and take part in a range of activities including a performance from Wobbles the Clown, a fancy dress parade and raffle draws.

Summer Reading Club prizes

On Monday Feb 6th our Mayor Miriam Smith presented the winners of our Summer Reading Club prizes at an afternoon tea in the children’s area of the Library with our Library Manager Helen. The children won book vouchers and other goodies. Out of the 1710 books that were read by children from Tea Tree Gully Library, our winner Clarisse read 240 books. Her brother Andrew came in second reading 110 books and equal third place went to Brittany and Amber for reading 80 books each. Well done!
