If the answer is yes to either one or both, come along next Wednesday night to the Library for our Books and Collectables Online @ your Library session, where you will discover two of the Library’s online resources, Good Reading Online and PriceIt.

magazineGood Reading Online is the digital version of the Good Reading Magazine with many extras. You can read the latest book reviews of fiction and nonfiction, author interviews and profiles and discover some great books to read, as well as being able to access the back catalogue of the magazine dating back to 2001.

PriceIt gives you access to a comprehensive illustrated database for identifying, researching and pricing art, antiques and collectibles. Bit like having your own online Antiques Roadshow!phone1
These resources are accessible at home and in the Library via our website, as long as you have a library card.
So come along on Wednesday 23 September, from 6:30 pm to 8pm when staff will show you all the great features of Good Reading Online and PriceIt!

Like to find out how much some of the old bits and pieces lying around at home are worth? Then go to the Library website Databases page where you can login and access our latest online resource, Price It! – Antiques & Collectibles database.
Price It! is used for identifying, researching and pricing art, antiques and collectibles and its data sources include online auction sources (eBay and GoAntiques), online retail and land based auction houses. It provides access to millions of antiques and collectible items that have recently been sold, to help you value these items accurately. New subjects and content are added monthly.
There are various ways to search including keyword, images and price range.
There is also a directory of collecting clubs from around the world.
