Everything Alice

If you are of a crafty disposition and your dream destination would be a trip down a famous rabbit hole you will love Everything Alice – The Wonderland Book of Makes by Hannah Read-Baldrey and Christine Leech. It’s full of things to make and do, all inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic stories Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

From the cover to the end pages Everything Alice is a beautiful book, full of colourful illustrations. It features creative projects from different areas such as needlecraft, paper craft, millinery, candle making and jewellery making.

You can make a Wonderland mobile, a Cheshire Cat hand warmer or a pair of Red King slippers with turned up toes. Perhaps you might even like to copy and make your own set of Alice and White Rabbit paper dolls. And what would a book about Alice be without a Mad Hatter’s tea party and games? Included are recipes for cookies and cakes, Cheshire Cat sandwiches, pink Duchess macaroons, and more. Not to forget the patterns for your special invitations, tea cosy and playing card garland. So what does one wear to such a distinguished occasion? A special hat or mask and Time for Tea jewellery of course!
