Artist Penelope Davis collects old books and uses them to create silicon molds. She then fills these with a type of resin, and after the resin hardens the recreated books look like they’re made of glass. Davis then treats each “glass book” with coloured gels, and exposes the books with a photogram technique on coloured paper. This process creates vibrant book images without using a camera!
