For all the Baby Boomers out there, take a trip down memory lane as you watch this footage of the John Martin’s Christmas pageant taken in 1955 by Ron Axer, courtesy of the State Library’s YouTube channel.

Things have certainly changed since then!

  1. The floats haven’t changed much, but some of the costumes would be considered rascist today!

    I must admit I don’t recognise the buildings at all.
