A different kind of resident visits the library

What are you looking at?

Ooh here's a juicy one

A furry little native animal has taken up residence in the gum trees outside the library in the past few days to delight of staff and patrons, but to the dismay of the local birds. The Council Horticultural Team indicated that as the weather warms up and the eucalypts dry off, more and more koalas and other native fauna are entering suburbia in search of water and richer food sources. Koalas seldom stay in the same tree for long so it will probably move on in the near future, hopefully avoiding the very busy North East Road just metres away.
