For our police, a day at work can be treading a fine line between success and destruction. Local author and former police officer, Ray Clift, is launching his new book “It’s a Fine Line”, a collection of anecdotes from his crime fighting career, working with those survivors with scars and angels with dirty faces.
Ranging from humour to tense and dangerous situations, “It’s a Fine Line” is an insight into the work of the brave men and women that protect our community.
Ray’s previous work is “The Journey of Hamlin Baylis Wells“, and both titles are published by Ginninderra Press.
“It’s a Fine Line” will be launched at the Library’s Relaxed Reading Area on Wednesday 4 November from 6.30pm. Wine and cheese supper will be served, and Ray will have copies of his book for sale and signing.
Bookings are essential, phone 8397 7333 or ask at the Library.
