Poetry Slam is back! The Tea Tree Gully heat will be held on Wednesday October 28th. Registrations are taken from 6.00pm but the slamming starts at 6.30. This year the national organisers are cracking down on the rules, so there’s a maximum of 20 slammers per heat! If more than 20 register, names will be randomly drawn from a hat until we reach 20,  so camping out front of the library to get in first will not help.  Due to this there is also no pre-registration. But that aside, interest is mounting so it looks to be a massive event! The two winners from this heat will win cash prizes donated by Public Libraries SA and go to the State Final at Higher Ground Light Square on November 6th.
