More Living Books

What is it like to be a fireman? Have you ever saved someone’s life?

How does it feel to arrive in Australia from a refugee camp? How do you make a new life in a strange country?

You may want to ask these questions to the two Living Books who have been added to the collection available for our Curious @ your library event this  Saturday.

The Living Library will now include Andrew Sharrad, from the Metropolitan Fire Service, and Jacob Anyar, a leader of the local Sudanese community.

Andrew and Jacob add to the 15 Living Books that you can meet and chat to at the Living Library on Saturday from 11am to 3pm.

See the catalogue for more details on the full range of Books.

The event is free, and loans of the Books will be on a first come, first served basis. All ages are welcome.

Curious? What would you like to ask?

  2. We welcome RAAF Sgt Mick Bohdal to the rank of Living Book, who will be available from 1pm to 3pm. Unfortunately the Wing Commander is unable to attend.
