…the eco friendly teen’s guide to saving the planet, is an interesting little book that I came across in the library workroom. Written by Jenn Savedge, this collection of tips, guidelines and interviews with environmentally-savvy teenagers is a little more than the usual collection of green hints books that, like saving money tips books, are flooding bookshop shelves of late. Although it has an American flavour, most of the suggestions are not bound by location. It includes suggestions for recycling at school, eco-friendly pet care, and ultimately is aimed at changing how teens think about their impact on the environment.
