Jodi Picoult is a best selling author of 15 novels. Her 16th, House Rules is set for release in 2010, but between writing  novels about relationships and family she has also penned 5 issues of DC comics’ Wonder Woman!

Jodi Picoult started writing as a child but during college had two short stories published by teen magazine Seventeen. Her first published novel was Songs of the Humpback Whale, written whilst pregnant with her first child. Her books have become hugely popular with her 13th (Nineteen Minutes) and 14th (Change of Heart) both debuting at number 1 on the New York Times best seller list.

Apparently she also makes excellent linzer tortes and broccoli soup.
