Author and adventurer Diana Gleadhill is coming to the Library on January 20th to chat about her adventures through Russia’s Kamchatka pennisula as described in her new book: Kamchatka – a journal and guide through Russia’s land of fire and ice. She describes the region is definitely not for the faint-hearted! “Some of the most stunning and dramatic volcanic scenery with an inordinate amount of wildlife!”
Apparently she’s going to have a bit of a slide show too of some of the photos from her adventures. Sounds awesome.
Morning tea will be provided and copies of the book will be for sale.
