The City of Tea Tree Gully Library is hosting the first heat of this national event on Wednesday 29 October from 6.30pm!
Be enthralled as local poets, writers and lyricists compete against each other for a chance to represent South Australia at the national final. The evening promises to be a profound experience of creative and possibly controversial performances! Thought provoking and mind opening, Poetry Slam is guaranteed to stir your emotions as we showcase a range of local creative talent.
Entrants have two minutes to win you and the judges over as they speak, sing, rap, yell or whisper their words. The two top placed performers earn a chance to compete in the SA final at the State Library! A wine and cheese supper will be offered, so come along for an amazing evening as our local poets Slam it out!
